Christmas Assistance Program
Christmas is a time to remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus, and the gift of love and purpose he offers us. The Bible says Jesus is “the hope of all the world” (Matthew 12:21) because he offers us peace, wholeness, unconditional love and meaning for our lives.
Although Christmas is meant to be a time of celebration and joy, if finances are tight, it can be challenging, stressful and isolating. Whatever challenges you have faced this year, The Salvation Army believes there is still a reason to hope, and we are here to help alleviate this stress for families and seniors struggling financially.
The Salvation Army London Christmas Assistance Program Overview - 2026:
The Salvation Army London Christmas Assistance Program provides support to families with children (ages 0-12) and seniors (55+) who need help at Christmas.

Toys/gifts are provided for children aged 0-12.

A grocery store gift card based on the size of your household will be provided to help with the costs of your Christmas celebration.
Applications will be accepted November 1 - November 30 (or until all appointments are booked).
Please submit only 1 application per household. Multiple applications from the same household will delay processing.
NEW THIS YEAR:
If you applied last year, you do not need your old ID number or password.
You will need an email address to apply online. Each email address can only be used for one household.
If you need to apply for more than one household, or do not have an email address, please call us before you start your application.
Need help applying?
If you need help completing the online applicaiton, in-person support is available on a first-come, first-served basis for seniors, peole with language or communication barriers, and anyone without access to a computer.

Support may also be available through other community agencies.
Application Review
It may take up to 2 weeks to review your application.
If we need more information or if there is a problem with your application, we will contact you. If you do not hear from us, your application has been approved.
